The Automated Chemistry Laboratory provides general screening services for renal, liver cardiac and other disease groups through the use of highly automated analytical platforms. Routine chemistry services are provided by staff located in rapid response laboratories on both sites. These laboratories provide rapid analysis of patient specimens for basic parameters of the full test repertoire.
In addition to highly automated analysis, the laboratory provides analysis for diabetes, lipids, endocrinology and tumour marker studies through dedicated staff in the Core Laboratories.
