The Haematology Laboratory performs comprehensive screening and diagnostic services along with specialist Haematology whilst the Blood Transfusion service provides a comprehensive Red Cell Immunohaematology service as well as meeting the blood transfusion needs of patients both at Bedford Hospital NHS Trust and in the private sector.
