Microbiology

The microbiology department provides a high quality service, to the Trust and local GPs, for the diagnosis of infectious diseases and advice on the clinical management of infections.

The new Microbiology laboratories opened in March 2011 after a £1m refurbishment by GSTS and Bedford Trust.
