The laboratories host Trust-directed, collaborative and GSTS-directed research projects with internal and external grants or commercial funding.
Clinicians and scientists move seamlessly between service provision and development, and their clinical academic pursuits within the Biomedical Research Centre and the Clinical Academic Groupings of King's Health Partners.
GSTS also provides contracted support for external clinical and laboratory research projects and we are happy to work with commercial partners to validate new tests and help bring them to the market place. This arrangement ensures that partner organisations working with GSTS can rapidly bring novel diagnostics and technologies to the bedside as part of the translational research agenda. In turn, customers can be assured that they are accessing services based on the very latest scientific and clinical research.
