I came to GSTS at St Thomas’ Hospital in October 2011 so my daughter could have the Active B12 test.
She has recently had trouble being diagnosed as B12 deficient and GSTS is currently the only pathology provider in the UK that offers the Active B12 (holotranscobalamin) test. I am hopeful that this test will give us new hope for the correct ongoing treatment for her condition.
All the GSTS staff, from the phlebotomists to the scientists in the labs, were so helpful and supportive and we are so grateful this test is available.
